You may have a number of questions about radiation therapy. Knowing what you might expect can help you feel more comfortable about your treatment and more in control of your health. Your radiation oncologist will supply you with more specific instructions about your surgery, but you might also want to pose these questions:

  1. What results do you hope to achieve from radiation therapy?
  2. What are the risks from this therapy?
  3. What are the potential side effects? What can I do to ease or avoid them?
  4. Are there lifestyle modifications I can make to feel my best during treatment?
