Cary, RN, CBPN-IC, practices at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN.
Patient Jane W. shares how this oncology nurse navigator made a difference in her life:
“After a routine mammogram, I was told I needed to have a stereotactic biopsy. I had never heard of this procedure. The day before I was to have the biopsy, Cary Ralph called me. She identified herself as a breast health navigator who would help me through the procedure. She asked if I had questions and explained what to expect. The next day she met me, and her smile and positive attitude relieved my fears. During the biopsy, she sat and rubbed my back assuring me all the while that I was doing well. She was the last person I saw when I left that day.
When I was scheduled for surgery, Cary stayed with me holding my hand while the radiologist inserted the wire for the surgeon.
I am certain that Cary Ralph treated me no differently than all her patients. I think she is special in that she shares what she knows with genuine kindness, care, concern and encouragement.” —Jane W.
