Patient Virginia B. shares how this nurse practitioner made a difference in her life:

"If it were not for Rhonda Wilt, I would be dead instead of writing this letter about my angel nurse. In 2011 I was at work and had a mild heart attack. At the hospital I explained that I had no insurance and had been without medication for my heart for a very long time. The hospital sent me to Mission of Hope Clinic, where I met Rhonda.

Rhonda made sure I had all of my medications. She also noticed a "knot" under my right arm. All of a sudden I was having tests and biopsies done. The biopsy came back that the knot was stage 3 cancer. I was very scared, but Rhonda stayed by my side from day one.

I am also raising my grandson, who was 8 years old at the time, and who I worried about very much. Rhonda went above and beyond her role of Nurse Practitioner. She made sure I had food in my house, gas in my car, and that my grandson had a Chrsitmas.

She also assisted me with my Medicade and brought papers to my house for me to sign. She has seen me through all of my tests, radiation treatments and sickness. She always help my hand and comforted my through my fears and tears.

If it were not for Nurse Rhonda and the Clinic, I know in my heart that I would not be here today. What nurse does all of this? And not only once, but for three years! Rhonda is still my nurse, my friend, and my gift from God."— Virginia B.
